Rollergirls - Bombs EP

 Facebook | Tumblr

Remember the band Rollergirls from Darmstadt? I uploaded their album "In heaven everything is fine" about two and a half years ago. Now they're back. Started as a screamo band, they decided to play instrumental music, but now...it's different again, now the band regained vocals. Coltish post-whatever-indie-punk music that invites you to sing along. Must be great to see them live.
"Bombs" is their new output, only a digital release. But there are already plans to release a new full-length in spring 2013.

Mio & Alia - Split

 Mio @ Myspace | Alia @ Myspace

Passionated split tape between Leipzig's Alia and Mio. Mio (who only consist of 2 members) deliver 5 minimalist emo/screamo songs - 4 of them are taken from their first 7" - whereas Alia play some more epic stuff between post-punk, emo and post-rock. Anyhow, both bands have many instrumental parts in their songs.
The blue tapes are handdubbed and spraypainted. All clothcovers are handsewed and handscreened closed with a button. There were 70 tapes made, all handnumbered and meanwhile sold-out.

Mio / Duct Hearts - Split

Mio @ Myspace | Duct Hearts @ Myspace

Another split-7" from Germany. Now it's time for the post-punk/screamo duo Mio from Leipzig and the solo post-rock/atmospheric emo project Duct Hearts from Munich. So there are more labels than band members involved in this release, hehe. Anyhow, if you dig music that is played by hearts full of love and deep thoughts you should check this out. Especially the Duct Hearts song is sooo beautiful! And keep your eyes open for the new split-12'' of Mio and Captain, your ship is sinking.
This upload is from a record-rip I did by myself and something went not so well during the rip. So the quality is not the best, but it's much better than nothing. And if you like it you should buy it anyway, it is worth it. At least I added a txt file with the lyrics and further information.
ps: Thx to Tao for your rip with a better sound quality!

Rollergirls - In heaven everything is fine

Rollergirls @ Myspace

Rollergirls is a band from Darmstadt, Germany. Formed in early 2006 as a screamo band, they decided to play instrumental music after their shouter left and a second guitarist joined the band. But don't expect this instrumental post-rock stuff like Explosions in the sky or whatever, the Roller Girls stuff is much more punk or rather faster and danceable but just as atmospheric.
"In heaven everything is fine" is their third output, you can order it via e-mail or Myspace message for 4 € + shipping. Previously they've released a demo 3"cd-r and a tour-split 3"cd-r with Actress.

Single state of man - Selftitled

I already uploaded this one, but it was not such a good quality and the sound was a bit quiet. Now I ripped my own lp and this sounds better than the version you could find on the internet so far.
Well as we all know this contains six songs somewhere between nice post-rock and screamy post-punk, four of them are instrumental. 700 copies were pressed. Check out their new split-7'' with Men as trees!

Radio Burroughs - The principles of hope or hybris

Radio Burroughs is a five-piece outfit from Berlin & Leipzig. Their style is pretty hard to describe...in every case you can hear their screamo - and postcore background, but this rather tends to a kind of mix between nice, simple played pop and post-punk/core. They have already released a split 7'' with the great Petethepiratesquid and this is their first full-lenght. Give them a try! 512 copies were pressed.

Great rocking songs comparable to resp. in the same vein as bands like LES SAVY FAV, Q AND NOT U, etc. And just as it should be with a really good split-single, both songs represent the bands at their best!"
