When these two German bands release a split-record, it has to be great. And yes, it became great. The perfect fusion of melancholy and punk. The only negative thing is: only one song of each band, running alltogether in 5 1/2 minutes.
This split was released without the help of a recordlabel and is limited to 400 handnumbered copies, packed in gatefold covers including a downloadcode.
By the way: watch out for the new Captain Planet LP "Treibeis" on Zeitstrafe Records in October.

Duesenjaeger is one of Germany's best punk bands, singing German lyrics full of profoundness and weltschmerz (great word). Founded in 1999, they are still active today (apart from a break between 2008 and 2010). This is their first release. The sound here is very raw, of course.

Kids Explode were four crazy guys from Germany playing great post-punk music you sometimes could dance to. The band was born in late 2004 and disbanded in April 2010. They toured with bands like Shokei, Ende of a Year and Solemn League.
This discography is not a real release, I just put all their songs in a good sound quality (320 kbps) together and uploaded them for you. 11 songs in almost 30 minutes.
